WHAT’S A ROTORHEAD?
IT STARTED IN A HELICOPTER.
I learned how to lead in the cockpit of a Navy helicopter. It was loud, high-stakes, and full of personalities—but the job only worked when we could trust each other, stay clear on who was doing what, and kept talking when things got hard. That’s still the work. Different environment, but same principles.

Why Rotorhead Exists

I’ve led teams as a startup founder, a CEO, a program lead at Google, a professor, and a facilitator. I’ve got degrees from Georgetown and Harvard, but the most useful training came from managing chaos while zipping over the desert at 150 feet and 200 miles per hour…or sitting through hundreds of meetings that should’ve been a whole lot shorter—and way more fun.
That’s why I started Rotorhead Partners. “Rotorhead” is a nickname for helicopter pilots—sometimes playful, sometimes a dig. Either way, it fits.

WHY THIS WORK MATTERS

And the work is serious. Because being on a team is hard. Leading one is even harder. There’s no switch you flip to make it all click—it takes practice, and structure, and space. But more than anything, it takes conversation. Real conversation.

HOW WE DO IT

That’s what I do best: get people talking with each other. I’ve discovered that play and storytelling are the best ways to get into it. But make no mistake, once we’re in, we’re in it. My methodologies help us have fun while uncovering the possibilities and the problems, the opportunities and the obstacles.
Along the way, we’ll discover that we’re just a bunch of humans trying to make our little corner of the world just a little bit better.

WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT

I’ve been in too many sessions where only a few voices spoke up, and everyone else checked out. That’s where things go sideways. That’s where rust erodes. So the difference in this work? Everyone’s in. Everyone participates. Everyone plays. Because the second you make room for every voice, things get better.

EVERYONE’S VOICE COUNTS

Fun fact: more than a few times, the most junior member of my crew saved me from flying into the side of a mountain, careening into the side of a ship, or plunging nose-first into the ocean. So yeah, everyone’s voice counts.
That’s what Rotorhead is for. Not just team-building.
Teamwork.

TEDx Talk
The Office Is Obsolete
Jeremy discusses as we moved from an industrial to an informational economy what we do for work has gone through a revolution, but where and how we work has hardly changed at all. Neuner proposes that if we want a better society we have to develop a better way to work. That better way is already starting to happen. What is it?
